A diagrammatic approach to categorification of quantum groups I

چکیده
To each graph without loops and multiple edges we assign a family of rings. Categories of projective modules over these rings categorify U − q (g), where g is the Kac-Moody Lie algebra associated with the graph.

AN INTRODUCTION TO DIAGRAMMATIC ALGEBRA AND CATEGORIFIED QUANTUM sl2
This expository article explains how planar diagrammatics naturally arise in the study of categorified quantum groups with a focus on the categorification of quantum sl2. We derive the definition of categorified quantum sl2 and highlight some of the new structure that arises in categorified quantum groups. The expert will find a discussion of rescaling isomorphisms for categorified quantum sl2,...

sl 3-Foams and the Khovanov-Lauda categorification of quantum sl k. Abstract In this paper I define certain interesting 2-functors from the Khovanov-Lauda 2-category which categorifies quantum sl k , for any k > 1, to a 2-category of universal sl 3 foams with corners. For want of a better name I use the term foamation to indicate those 2-functors. I conjecture the existence of similar 2-functor...

متن کاملCategorification and Groupoidification of the Heisenberg Algebra
These lectures, prepared for Higher Structures in China III, held in Changchun, Aug 2012, describe a relationship between two forms of categorification of algebras by giving a combinatorial model for Khovanov’s categorification of the Heisenberg algebra in a 2-category of spans of groupoids. This is joint work with Jamie Vicary. The goal here is to describe two notions of “categorifying an alge...
متن کاملTowards Quantum Mathematics Part I: From Quantum Set Theory to Universal Quantum Mechanics
We develop the old idea of von Neumann of a set theory with an internal quantum logic in a modern categorical guise (i.e. taking the objects of the category H of (Pre-)Hilbert spaces and linear maps as the sets of the basic level). We will see that in this way it is possible to clarify the relationship between categorification and quantization and besides this to understand that in some sense a...
